Meet Denise
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. Ephesians 1:17
hi, I’m Denise Bostic
I aM servant of Christ, Wife, Mom, And Grandma. I also enjoy Spending time in the great outdoors!
Originally born and raised in the State of Indiana, in 1984 I moved to “Almost Heaven” West Virginia to marry the love of my life, Terry. By 1990, we had a daughter named Alyssa and a son named Trevor. Today our family has grown to include our grandson Bradan, and Mom, Destinie.
Like so many other women in today’s world, I wear a lot of hats. I understand the unique challenges of trying to balance a spiritual life while filling various roles and responsibilities. Now that I am older (and hopefully a little wiser) I would like to share some of what God has taught me along the way with my sisters in Christ, wherever you may be on the globe. Also, I would love, (if you are so inclined), to share some things you have learned as well! My prayer is that during your visit here, you will find spiritual refreshing, encouragement, edification, and an equipping that will empower you to become the Spirit-filled woman that God desires you to be!
ministry
My husband Terry and I were ordained by Kingsway Fellowship International in 2000. One year later, we founded Truth and Spirit Ministries. Over the years, as we have taken the gospel of salvation to others in the “highways and hedges”, the Lord has been faithful to work with us and confirm his word with signs following. By God’s grace and power, we have seen others saved, healed, receive miracles and deliverance.
We have also ministered to the saints within various local Churches, groups, as well as individuals by teaching the word of God, and moving in prophetic ministry. Whether on the job, in the pulpit, or on the street, we endeavor to reach the lost, overlooked, neglected, and forgotten with lGod’s encouragement and love.
my testimony
Our personal testimonies are a testament to what God has done in our lives and can have the power to impact others. I do so now in the hopes that it will, in some way, affect yours for the better. (Revelation 12:11)
Today, whenever I see saints departing from New Covenant grace and bringing themselves under the rules, Sabbath, and Feasts of the Mosaic law, I want to shout from the rooftops, “don’t do it!” You see, I understand why the New Testament scriptures warn us not to bring ourselves under law and it was a painful lesson to learn. I grew up in a religious cult that made it their life’s work to indoctrinate us in the works of the Law. Although I loved God, and wanted to live right before him, over time, I found these works impossible to keep. The more I tried, the more I failed to keep them. Sin always had the upper hand. This only resulted in a cycle of shame, guilt, struggle, and disappointment. All of this wreaked havoc in my life. Eventually, it became a burden I could no longer bear. (Acts 15:10-11)
Throughout my teenage years and even as a young adult, I wrestled with addictions, anger, and at times, deep depression. No matter how hard I tried to overcome, I could not. Like Paul, I found that although I wanted to do good – I could not do it because sin was present within me. (Romans 7) It wasn’t until the Lord gave my husband and I a spiritual awakening and led us to leave this cultish organization that we came to understand why we were unable to have complete victory over sin.
